Description :	Placards en bois peint présentant huit portes. L'intérieur des meubles est en bois naturel. L'horloge est incorporée dans cet ensemble. Sa caisse en bois peint est constituée de deux parties. Le corps supérieur à porte vitrée abrite le mouvement orné de bronze. Le corps inférieur, fermé par une porte de bois, renferme les poids et un balancier lisse de faible diamètre.

Historique :	Ce type d'horloge à poids n'apparaît que très rarement dans les inventaires ruraux du 18e siècle. Elles deviennent plus nombreuses vers les années 1830, et se répandent lentement dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle.
