Historique :	Cette statue reprend l'iconographie de la Vierge de noire du Puy détruite au moment de la Révolution.

Précision_sur la representation :	Les manteaux de la Vierge et de l'Enfant recouvrent entièrement leurs corps : ils présentent un fond guilloché orné de rinceaux. sur le manteau de la Vierge sont sculptés des colliers : deux rangs de perles, un rang de cabochons ovales, un rang de cabochons losangés alternant avec des perles et un rang de cabochons octogonaux d'où pendent des pendeloques. Tous les deux sont coiffés d'une couronne de type fermé.
