Historique :	L'inscription a pu être écrite après la révolution et la disparition de la statue originale de la Vierge noire du puy. Par le recoupement des différentes illustrations il apparaît effectivement que cette statue du monastère sainte Claire est une représentation assez Fidèle de l'original.
