Historique :	L'exécution de ces deux statues est attribuée à Pierre Vaneau de Montpellier, sculpteur au Puy, mort en 1694.

Précision sur_l'état :	Les deux statues appartenaient au groupe d'une Sainte Famille dissociée dont l'enfant a disparu. Il manque la main droite et l'index gauche de la Vierge et l'attribut que le saint tenait dans la main droite. Bois fendillé en plusieurs endroits. Les deux statues encore polychromes en 1976 ont été entièrement décapées.
